Mechanical Engineering

MSME is specifically designed for the professionals working in the industry willing to boost their technical skills and knowledge for their career advancements. It also serves the individuals concerned in harnessing their potential for PhD studies. The degree program primarily focuses on developing advance modeling skills and enhancing engineering knowledge in the areas of Thermal & Fluid Sciences,Manufacturing & Production, and Mechanical Design & Analysis. For the program minimum credit hours earned by a student shall be 30, with minimum 06 credit hours requirement of research, and 24 credit hours (i.e. 3 credit hours per course) for coursework.



BS/BSc Mechanical Engineering, from PEC recognized university with minimum 2.5 CGPA (Semester System) or 60% (Annual System). Interview, Entry Test In Department & GAT- General( conducted by the National Testing Service with a minimum of 50% cumulative score. University Departmental Committee may conduct the test at par with GAT General test and qualifying score for this will be 60%

The students of graduate program will be well-equipped with the knowledge of modeling, analyzing and solving Mechanical Engineering problems, and are expected to be an active part of R & D sector of government organizations and private industries. They will be capable enough to develop their own consultancy firms, be engaged with research centers, and will provide consultancy services to public and private Sectors. The program focuses to enhance the research skills of students, and makes them better prepared for pursuing higher studies (i.e. Ph.D) at the prestigious national and/or international universities.
